Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek gets its name from two native words: Ghore (horse) and Pani (water). This hamlet used to be a resting station for old merchants who found water for their horses, and poon is the name of the nearby hill. This expedition is well-known as a destination for those explorers who want to go hiking in the Himalayas but only have a week off, as Ghorepani is a classic trekking destination for all seasons. This hike takes you through beautiful forests with terraced fields.
