The Kailash Parvat and Mount Kailash are said to be the world’s spiritual center. Lake Manasarovar, like Mt. Kailash, is a holy place for pilgrims of all faiths.
Mt. Kailash, with its perfect peaks, and Lake Manasarovar, a beautiful lake in theTibetan mountains, are both worth visiting. We call the lake the Lake of Consciousness because the word’manas’ means mind and’sarovar’ means holy lake. The holy lake, which has an 88-kilometer diameter, is particularly beautiful during full moon days. In addition, the site is a sacred site for Hinduism, Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, pre-Buddhist animistic faiths, and Jain religions in Nepal.
