Overview
Ghandruk Trek is a Gurung tribal cultural heritage village trek and still keeping the safe linguistic and speaks the Gurung language in its dialect which is known as Gorkha Ex British army village. Ghandruk village is one of the most beautiful villages in the Annapurna area.
Ghandruk village is one of the most developed villages in the Kaski district, the Annapurna Rural Municipality, and between Lumle and Chhomrong Villages, and the closest trek from Pokhara. The Gurungs of Ghandruk villages practice their own cultural identity and traditions based on Pye-Tan Lhu-Tan as well as Hinduism, who worship natureTotal deity. The Ghandruk village Gurungs have been practicing the ancient Bon religion (pre-Buddhist religion of Tibet), which is shamanic and animistic in nature, but later adopted Tibetan Buddhism.
