Dakshinkali Temple

Overview

The Hindu community visits Dakshinkali Temple, which is located 23 kilometers outside of Kathmandu Valley. The huge Kali Temple is located on the edges of the valley, and we may visit it in a single day. The Holy Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, and pilgrims flock to the temple in large numbers every year, particularly during Nepal’s most important holiday, Dashain.

From the neighboring Newar town of Pharping, Dakshinkali is a popular hiking destination. Kabru Adventure Holidays will take care of all of your needs so that you can visit the Holy Temple of Dakshinkali.

The Hindu Goddess “Kali” is honored in the Dakshinkali Temple in Nepal. The Mahakali is another name for Kali. Mahakali is described as an incarnation of Annapurna in Hindu Vedas, Shiva Puran, and Puranas. Annapurna is a manifestation of Goddess Parvati, with Anna meaning “food” and Purna meaning “fulfillment.” It is thought that the Goddess Annapurna satisfies the human demand for sustenance.
